Strengthening Communities - Building Careers

BCS, a unique, nonprofit organization, was created in 2003 by a multitude of partners for the express purpose of integrating service delivery for workforce development operations.  BCS goals support business growth by connecting employers to a well-prepared labor force, cultivating strong work-preparation skills and empowering job seekers with information and guidance to make informed decisions leading to permanent, long-term work in high demand, high wage occupations.

Through award-winning models like the Manufacturing Careers Internship Program (MCIP), sector-based career pathways programming, innovative job seeker volunteer engagement through projects like “EDGE,” and groundbreaking initiatives like Human Centered Design (HCD), BCS consistently provides inspiring, creative and flexible, customer-centered solutions.
