After graduating high school Jesus took a job as a porter, washing and delivering cars to customers – getting by, but not getting ahead.

He decided to enroll in MCIP, completed the work-readiness boot camp and accepted an internship at Dubak Electrical Group in LaGrange Park. The company was so impressed with his work ethic, they offered him a full-time job in their electrical panel manufacturing department and he is now training to be an electrician.

Michael Wagenaar, Manufacturing and Prefab Manager for Dubak Electrical Group had this to say about Jesus, “He’s quick to learn new things, is always on-time and willing to stay late. We are so glad to have him!” For Jesus, it’s a dream come true.
